Bangkok Grand Palace Thailand

I went to Bangkok’s The Grand Palace (พระบรมมหาราชวัง) on one of, probably, the hottest day in the city – the Songkran Festival Period. The Grand Palace is a huge complex of amazing architecture – divided into 4 main courts. It has been the official residence of the Kings of Siam and the Royal Family until 1925 and is now used for official events, royal ceremonies and state functions.

Here are some of the photos I took while I was there:

The Grand Palace in Bangkok is open daily from 830 to 1530, unless it is being closed down for Royal Ceremonies. There are also free english guided tours on certain hours, 4 times a day.  Admission fee is at 400 Baht and proper attire must be observed while inside the premises.

If I miss out on anything or you want to add more information about The Grand Palace in Bangkok, please feel free do so at the comments section below.
